Why a River Cruise

I had so much fun on my Christmas Markets on the Rhine experience with Amawaterways, I’m not only going back - this time I’m bringing you with me! River cruising is the perfect way to experience all the Christmas Markets have to offer. It’s relaxed, yet active and has all of the space to both explore new, exciting places and rest, relax and enjoy the magic of the holiday season.

What to Expect

Float along with me from Basel to Amsterdam, experiencing 5 different Christmas markets and beautiful historic landmarks along the Rhine, including an afternoon on board sailing past 35 castles that dot the shore of the Rhine Gorge - all with a unique story to tell.

Who is this for?

The great thing about this trip is that there is something for everyone. There is a mix of ages, but primarily adults. This is a great trip for friend pairs or groups, moms and daughters (I’m bringing my mom!) or even solo travelers (though a caveat here, is that there IS a solo supplement to this trip, but if you’re open to being paired with another solo traveler, I can help you find one!).
